151 SteveNY02what ever happened to freedom of speech + assemble You know what maybe the parents should be blamed for and not the website. Parents should have responiblity just like every other person. Monitor what your kid does and tell them to look out for that stuff because no matter what you do it will always be there
152 AnonymousAK01no way they can pull this off

158 LorettaNY06Stop stepping on our liberties... You need to use your legislation and money to get to these perverts and not punish the victims... and PARENTS you are ultimately responsible for your kids....Get off the couch and look over their shoulders... Get the computers out of the bedrooms and put them in the living room. Stop being afraid of your kids.
159 carrieTN02I feel strongly that if Congress wants to make it safer on the internet that they not just take away myspace. Myspace is a great website that does have a lot of security in it. If Congress won't let students into it, then someone is going to come around with another website that is worse than myspace and it will affect kids more negatively than they ever could have imagined!

165 RebeccaME04It is up to parents to be actual parents and monitor what thier children are doing it is NOT the governments place to try to be parents

167 AnonymousNY02How dare you try to limit us what we can do because some people are idiots. this is a violation of our first admendment rights. if this passes, there will be chaos in the streets. just see what happens.
168 AnonymousCA03I think that the legislature is taking too broad of an approach.
169 CaoimheIN05I am in the US goin' to school and I very much enjoy havin' an opportunity to find out about family back home in Ireland thru use of this service.
170 BrendenMA02The people make available the resources they have created. It is up to the individual to make the decision to use these resources and to be responsible in doing so.

175 JamalVA01If they can let us drive, work, and do everything else when were teens; then why not let us have our own site. It's not their business to interfere with our personal lives unless we want them to, or we really need help.

182 NinaRI02Myspace is a place to keep in touch with friends from camp, school, sports, business, etc. If people want to post more than they should, then thats their choice of stupidity.

196 katrinaND04My family's only access to the internet is the puplic library. I instant message with my sisters. It would hurt my family relationship if we could not keep in contact that way. I also think its the parents responsibility to monitor his or her child. The government should have no say here.
197 TravisAZ01Myspace may be bad but it did say use at own risk.
198 MichaelWA05This country is backwards upside down and sideways.
