| 193 | kathylipscomb | How much suffering are the Palestinians supposed to bear. And, the Israeli people also grieve for their dead although many hundreds fewer in numbers, but none the less gone forever from their lives. The open air prison that is Gaza is directly related to the absolute refusal of the Israelis to pull back to their 1967 borders as demanded by the United Nations and the Arab League, among others. It is somewhat comforting that polls in Israel reveal 64% of the people want their government to negotiate with Hamas. That's what should happen. And, Israels main lifeline, the U.S. government should demand it! | US | |
