Lisa Guglielmo | My home is in the area of New Hempstead Rd. and Rt 45 and the large aircraft, especially at night is very loud. Sometimes, in the night you can hear the constant flyover when they are delayed landing.

Sharon Wollman | I vehemently oppose plane traffic overhead and urge you all for yourself and your families to stop what the FAA has taken measures behind our back to do.
Rick Wollman | I am firmly against the proposed rerouting of planes over Rockland County
Stephen D. Lowy | Route the planes over non-populated or sparcely populated areas. A slight deviation of the flight plan should not be a big problem.

| 227 | Laurie B Inokuma | The helicopters that fly over now are annoying enough without adding planes. I lived in NYC and moved here to get away from the aircraft overhead.
Do not allow the FAA to push planes over us, ask them to add runways, increase flight control personnel and improve the ground facilites to control and accomodate the air traffic. |
Yehuda Rosenblum | As a home owner and as a resident of Rockland County, I would like to see these planes stopped from flying overhead.

Andrew Gigante | Airports today can't handle the amount of planes they are currently receiving (e.g. not enough open gates). That is why there are delays. How would redirecting 600 planes a day over Rockland County reduce these flight delays? The FAA “projects that it will reduce delays by 20 percent.” Sorry, but you’ll have to have a better reason then reducing a 5 hour delay down to 4 as a good reason. "More direct flight paths and steeper takeoffs, which get jetliners into thinner air more rapidly, would also curb fuel use and save airlines $248 million a year.” So you get to save the airlines money, reduce the values of our homes, put us into a higher risk bracket, and reduce our overall air and health quality just to save the airlines some money and reduce a 5 hour delay down to 4? Not good enough. Use the ocean as an alternative route or reduce the amount of planes in the air.
Anonymous | I oppose the increase in planes going over Rockland County.
Yogsing Lee | Rerouting heavy air traffic over residential areas is utterly unwise considering the adverse impact and potential risks being imposed on the local residents. It should only ever be considered, if ever, as a last resort after properly correcting all the real causes of the air traffic congestion.
