| 10 | Brian Nugent | As Trustee in the Village of Sloatsburg, I oppose any additional flights over Rockland County. Further, I opposed any additional flights over the Torne Valley, Harriman State Park. The FAA admits that it did not consider the imminent increase in Stewart Airport Traffic that will result from the Port Authority takeover of Stewart. The FAA preferred alternative is ill-conceived and failed to give adequate notice to those who will be affected by it. |
| 11 | Tom Sheehan | We need Sound Barriers for the Thruway Traffic in Sloatsburg (Whice we do not have, yet) and now we have to deal with Air Traffic as well! Block this insane suggestion! |
| 12 | Arthur Reeck | Please continue your work to stop the planes over Rockland. |

| 17 | Pierre Skol | Dear Mr. St. Lawrence,
Regarding your letter of August 2007 re the proposal by the FAA to send 200 to 600 flights over Rockland, I, and ALL of my neighbors in the Squires Gate section of Suffern, are vehemently opposed to this plan. Please advise who else we need to contact besides yourself, and your good office, to express our opposition to this.
Also, in your letter, you stated, "local officials suggested that the FAA re-evaluate sending flights over Chestnut Ridge, Orangetown, and the village of Montebello, - and instead send them over Western Ramapo (Suffern, Hillburn, and Sloatsburg)."
Please advise the names of these "local officials" who believe their area of Rockland is entitled to special treatment at the expense of the villages of Western Ramapo.
What the FAA is proposing is bad enough without having "fellow Rocklanders" sell out to protect their part of the county.
The proposal by the FAA must be fought by your office so no low altitude flights are over Rockland.
Please advise who else we need to contact.
Thank you for your attention. |

| 30 | Joe Shindler | Please let this not happen. I moved from Long Island And Queens purposely to live in peace in quiet. I feel having all these planes overhead would destroy our quality of life that we pay a fortune for. |

| 33 | Anonymous | Environmentally 600 planes over Rockland will completely destroy whatever little clean air we have. The studies that were performed by the FAA are 15 years lagging and do not represent what would transpire today since the area has become populated. |
| 34 | Ladislav Sebestyan | We all in Stonegate strongly oppose the FAA's plan to have 600 planes a day fly over Rockland County, destroying our quality of life. |
| 35 | Jed Troubh | |
| 36 | Bonnie Troubh | |
| 37 | David Blank | The FAA's plan is not the solution. It will seriously deteriorate the quality of life of Rockland residents |

| 39 | Karen Ventura | |
| 40 | Fred Malfa | |
| 41 | Ari Fishkind | Route the flights a few miles to the west, over largely uninhabited Torne Valley. |
| 42 | Anonymous | we fully support you in your efforts to stop this project. |
| 43 | Pierre Randolph | Planes should be re-directed over less populated areas of Rockland County, NY |
| 44 | Seymour Kaplan | I have already heard planes booming overhead. It's ruining a wonderful place to live in |

| 46 | Tom Hessian | Too much noise already..Ramapo Police refuse to enforce already existing laws against noise... |
