Her sweet nature and wonderful sense of humor was a warm welcome to the New Year, and she is sorely missed. The other stations' coverage may not be up to KTLA's technical standards, but at least they aren't insulting their viewers by trying to replace their greatest asset. Oh, and here's a little bit of ancient wisdom for the people in charge of this fiasco -- not everyone watching their endless commercials is under thirty. Some of us creak a bit here and there, but we still shop, and our money is still as good as anyone else's. Something to think about, since we haven't watched their station since they left that dear lady sitting out in a driving rain. |

Well, a co-hosting gig with some young KTLA personality won't save the parade's ratings, when it's the parade itself that's desiccated to young viewers. Edwards and Eubanks do a fine job of anchoring the parade. I cry age-ism; when they replace Bob Eubanks, will people complain as much? I hope so. Removing Edwards eliminates any reason to watch the parade on KTLA. If that means I miss it altogether, then so be it.

Bob Eubanks is incredialble and an icon in himself, but what you have done is the exact same thing as the price is right did to their models. It not only appears as discrimination against mature woman everywhere, but she was loved by many. The girl you replace her with was considered annoying by not only american idol but by many (see her reviews). Someday when you are replaced by someone younger, and you had done a better job as a woman you will see what goes around comes around. A very unwise choice on your part. It appears ridiculous with a more mature man and a girl young enough to be his granddaughter and we also love Bob Eubanks. Their would be many more petitions on this website if people knew about it.. Both my husband and myself were talking about the rose parade without Stephanie tonight, and thought that was a very unwise decision. It was apparent when you put her out to pasture on the front line, and cut her television time. Next year she is gone. It was obvious what you did. Very unwise decision. We also flip to other channels to watch the Rose parade because the comination was like splitting up Lucy and Desi, Jerry and Dean, Penn and Teller, Sonny and Cher (it is the dual that makes it work Debbie)! |
