Pittsburgh Steelers Steely McBeam

The petition

We the undersigned ask the Pittsburgh Steelers to do away with having the mascot Steely McBeam. This idea is stupid to begin with. It makes the Steelers organization look soft, weak, and into the entertainment busniess. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the NFL, not the circus or the WWE. Steely McBeam will not intimadate other teams coming into Heinz Field in fact it may make them feel relaxed. The Steelers have never had nor needed a mascot, and we fans feel that this needs to remain the same. Please get rid of the mascot now before the season begins.
