I also know that it is a very long walk to the other side of the railway for mothers with children and other elderly and disabled people.
Queues in Station Road West are long enough already. I am sure that one outlet will not provide an adaquate service for Oxted. |

| 64 | David Borer | There are frequently long queues at both post offices in Oxted demonstrating the strong demand for their services. The plan by the Post Office to close one shows a complete lack of interest in its customers.
The move by Essex County Council to retain their post offices should be followed by Surrey CC but they are not known to have much more interest in the people they are supposed to serve than the Post Office |

It will be a great loss to close it as it is a thriving service to the community. The Post Office in Station Road West could not possibly replace it as the service one receives there does not compare in anyway. |

With bus service running close to this Post Office and parking located behind, it is more easily accessible for a large percentage of Hurst Green / Oxted residents. The staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful and the queue is seldom more than 2 or 3 deep whereas the queue at Station Road West Post Office can be the length of the Post Office and out the door! There is definitely enough business to keep BOTH open. |
