Heather | Spaying and Neutering plays a big role in population control, clinics are needed.

Wil Henderson | an excellent idea - we should all do our part.
Ferne Sinkins | People know they should spay/neuter. It is the high cost that stops them.
Evelyne White | Vet costs discourage middle class individuals, so pet health suffers. I support lower cost clinics to help pet health and people.
Josie H. | Alot of people would agree with this petition! I certainly support it!
Deborah Stewart | Free spay/neuter clinics would go such a long way in helping pet owners in my own neighbourhood where many are living on minimum wage or social assistance. Pets can be such a vital part of our existance, especially for children and seniors on fixed incomes. Why should financially disadvantaged people have to do without because they can't afford to spay/neuter a pet?
Linda Somers | We are in great need of free or subsidized spay/neuter clinics. Lets continue to work towards this goal.
Karen Fike | Pets are family members and as a family member, they require equal health care. Ont. offers pet health insurance - it's a start, however it's not enough. Families are the structures that hold countries together, this is equally important. Clinics for S/N are needed.

Wil Henderson | If you love your animals spay or neuter them.
Diana Dohei | If you love your dogs and cats have them neutered and spayed.

Jackie | Vets are pretty expensive and governments should intervene with subsidies or spay and neuter programs
clair popejoy | I'm disappointed that there aren't any spay or neuter clinics available in ontario. Hopefully we can offer that valuable service.
Hillary Grumeth | As an owner of a number of pets..I could certainly us these clinics
Sandi Sweet | Too many cats are out on the street because people can't afford to look after them. Most of these are from litters that are a direct result of pet owners (alot of which have rescued these pets as strays) who can't afford to spay or neuter their pets. Please sign with me for the Felines' sakes.

| 23 | Laurie Stewart | I have three kittens that i had hoped would go to good homes, but no-one wanted them. They are now a part of my family but as their mother I cannot afford to get their shots or get them fixed.I have tried desperately tolook after them properly, but money, money!!! I have a friend who is going to help me out with getting the baby girl fixed THANK GOD. Idid not want to keep them but they are my babies and I wish I could afford to take care them approprietley. I at least give them a wonderful loving home and feed them a really good and healthy, but I would like to get them all fixed and their shots so that they will be protected and safe and healthy.
Thank you for your time Laurie Stewart |
Shawn | I'm an animal lover, and I'm having a hard time finding clinics to spay and neuterfor cheap.

Ramona Power | I STRONGLY believe that vets should give back to the animal loving public by encouraging people (by reducing costs at a clinic) to neuter their pets.

Anonymous | Yes, I think this is a great idia. Its getting so that the average person can't afford this anymore. Thje cost of such things have kept going up. Vets are very expensive.
stephanie jackson | i agree that there should be clinics with reasonable or free services
Peter Jackson |
Samantha Dion | There is a real need to offer help to those who want pets, but can't afford what they feel is unnecessary surgery. We also have a huge unwanted cat population that needs to be addressed.
Christine Braithwaite | we also need government funding for SPCA's, but, to solve the problem at the source, we need to close pet stores and regulate breeding and eliminate back room breeding as much as possible with the use of fines.

| 44 | Diana Dohei | Spay & neuter clinics are desparately needed throughout AB, Canada & worldwide. The number of unwanted cats/kitens& dogs/pups listed at SPCA's, Rescue's,private giveaways, feral cats & dogs is unbelievable. Eevery city needs these Spay & Neuter Clinics
to help stamp out euthanization of so many of God's creatures who are at the mercy of man. Let's start here and other cities/provinces will follow suit when they realize the success of such a program. And it will be a success! Please help us to help these homeless animals. Thank you for taking the time to read this. |

Carmella Murphy | Excellent idea, hope it goes through!
| 48 | Jennifer Lounsberry | I would like to begin my own petition for the Cornwall region, the feline and canine population here in Cornwall is outstanding. Many citizens here with pets can not afford the prices being asked for altering their pets. Also here at the OSPCA at the SD&G Branch makes all the payments for the animals being altering without any government support, which also limits our funding for other important animal welfare that could have been possible. I personally would like someone to e-mail me on how to go about his matter.
Thank you. Jennifer:) |
Laura Lee Baird | I have 2 kittens and it will be over $500 to get them vaccinated and spayed/neutered. This is very expensive for a family on one income.
Wendy O'Hara | All my dogs and cats have been neutered.
