| 14 | Kevin | Alsey | | UK | I believe that saving lives must come before businesses saving money.
I would certainly object to a fairground or a high rise flat being built on that site, but for a building that would provide an essential and valuable resource, I would not.
Lifeboat stations themselves can be tourist attractions, many are open to the public and can draw in impressive numbers. This can be very helpful to the tourism industry. So I cannot see how business can be affected in a negative way. |

| 22 | Wayne | Brunning | | UK | As a Search And Rescue co-ordinator covering the area of the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads, I have used the South Broads RNLI team on numerous occasions. I have no doubt that relocating them to a 'less prominent area' would impare their ability to respond to emergencies as quickly and may jeopardise their ability to continue to carry out successful life saving operations. What price a life compared to a view? |
