Shareholder Petition
We, the Shareholders of Skyworks Solutions Inc. ("the Company"), are categorically against any compensation of any sort for any Board or Management Member of the Company until the average quarterly earnings estimate, as determined by the average of all analysts covering the Company for the quarter, are beaten by no less than $0.02.
We believe that the large amounts of stock-based compensations that are being awarded to Board/Management members at the Company constitute a form of corporate looting.
While we understand that compensations (and stock based awards are needed to entice employees), we do not believe they should be given when the Company is struggling and when those awards force the company to announce earnings lower than analyists' expectations, as determined by the average of all analysts covering the Company for the quarter. In the end we, the shareholders of Skyworks Solutions Inc., are hampered as the stock price is negatively impacted by such quarterly earnings reports. |
