Help Keep Briere & Drury in Buffalo!

The petition

"Danny and Chris were chosen as Sabres captains because of what they mean to the team, both on and off the ice. Both guys show tremendous leadership and determination that will help lead our club." -Sabres head coach, Lindy Ruff -Sept 15, 2005.

This petition has been created as a plea to the Buffalo Sabres organization to re-sign Danny Briere and Chris Drury. We feel they deserve contracts to remain the leaders of our beloved Sabres and remain members of our community.

We have had the chance to marvel at Danny and Chris on the ice. They have led us from the days of bankruptcy and lockout to the top of the NHL.

We have had the chance to interact with their families in the community. They are wonderful people that have embraced Western New York as much as we have embraced them.

Please sign our petition and spread the word to every Western New Yorker and Sabres fan you know.

On June 20, 2007, I will print the petition and make copies to send, via certified mail, to all members of the Buffalo Sabres administration, starting with owner, Tom Golisano. This will be in their hands before the free agency period begins on July 1st.
