| 101 | Karen Piaskowski | Hope this campaign includes Girls Football |
| 102 | Andy McNaughton | |
| 103 | Gordon Davie | we need to get this as the backlog is horrific for fixtures . |
| 104 | Gerry Furay | Summer Football a must, Stop end of November close down December and January you would only have lost out on 3 games last year due to Christmas break,Would take you into Second week in June, Then Summer shutdown. |

| 106 | Scott Finlayson | Played one game from 15th of december untill the 2oth of february and 4 training sessions |
| 107 | JOHN GREEN | And not before time. 100% in agreement. It is about time someboby bumped the Dinosaurs heads togeather and made them see common sense. It is 30 years overdue. |
| 108 | Kyle Boggie | Don't know why there is a petition for this. This should have been set up a long time ago. I've always enjoyed football alot more when the weather is better. Not freezing cold on a saturday morning. |
| 109 | RUSSELL LAWRENCE | MY SON PLAYS FOR PRESTON ATHLETIC UNDER 17S I THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA AS HE HAS HAD MANY AN INJURY PLAYING ON BAD PITCHES FROM NOVEMBER TO FEBRUARY. |
| 110 | Paul Campbell | Summer football is a must for kids. |
| 111 | tony horan | youth teams need to play in sunshine, not freezing wet conditions.. |
| 112 | Norrie Kerr | I am in favour of the campaign to switch to summer football. |

| 114 | Mark Spiden | the weather in summer is obviousely so much better and it must be incredibly hard for scouts looking at a team to see any talent when the ball is getting stuck in the mud and players are loosing ther feet. |
| 115 | Richard Fairnie | Superb Idea wish I had that when I was younger and also stops a backlog of fixtures due to winter call-offs |
| 116 | alan spiden | |
| 117 | Stuart Black | I can understand (just!) why the professional game wants to play when it does, but kids?? Certainly not! Playing football on a freezing cold winters day in conditions that are certainly not conducive to passing football simply beggars belief. Time for a change at grassroots level. |

| 126 | Hugh Bryce | kids should be playing summer football when the weather is better, and the parks arent muddy fields.
So many games at all age groups have been cancelled in West Lothian, how has any tean to get consistency throughout the season.
Ask why are players from abroad more skillful on the ball, faster and more agile, answer better weather conditions.
Summer football would help the kids develope tose skills and more people would turn out to watch the games.
I have always thought it stupid to have kids of all age groups made to play on wet muddy pitches.
BRING ON SUMMER FOOTBALL AND WATCH KIDS DEVELOPE. |

| 130 | Soccer Mum | We can but dream....... Whats wrong with the SYFA -is there ANY negative side to this proposal? |
| 131 | Danny Airlie | It is something that should be looked at, especially at amatuer level. The conditions of our parks are bad enough as it is that come winter there is hardly ever many games getting played regularly. There could be a 2 week break in the middle of summer and that would still three up enough time to play out the seasons and have our end of season before christmas! |
| 132 | Colin Thompson | Couldn't agree more. There is just no argument for NOT doing this. |
| 133 | Iain McAlpine | My son is U15 now and has played in the west Lothian league for some 6 yrs now. Every year is the same story, however, this year has been particularly bad, his team only playing 3/4 games since early December. I've heard all the arguements against summer football: impact injuries (can't remember a time when the summer has been dry enough to worry about them!) and school holidays, but they only last 7 weeks and with squads of 16 players, most teams would only need to reschedule 2 or 3 games max! I think it's time for a change!! |

| 136 | Anonymous | i think there should be summer football as i play for a team and it very frustrating when games get called off and when we do play its in bad conditions. |
| 137 | Stuart Patton | winter football is a joke |
| 138 | S Noble | |
| 139 | annette barwick | I think it would be much better for all. Most of the games are cancelled anyway due to bad winter weather and pitches get hacked up when a games are played on soggy pitches.I think it would be far more sensible |
| 140 | gaffa | great idea. something needs done.
the only downside for managers is that a LOT of players would "maybe" be away on summer holiday at crucial times of the season.
that ^^ being the only drawback.
something needs done tho. |

| 145 | Anonymous | my 2 boys both play U14 & U16 and didn't play in December or January at all due to weather. Let them play when it's warmer! |
| 146 | Anonymous | I think football in the summer would be gr8 get children if the streets and get them 2 traing also during the week |
| 147 | Colin MacBeth | |
| 148 | kevin.mein | its about time rather than having games called off and standing in mud up to your knees every sunday |
| 149 | Ralph Buchanan | I'm sick of reading tabloid reports in the aftermath of Scotland u16,18,21 & Seniors defeats to Scandavanian/German/Dutch etc squads, stating how technically better our opponents were. I believe that the differences are due to their kids playing football & training on better surfaces/facilities. My son currently plays for Spartans (Edinburgh) under 12's on full size muddy/uneven/littered cow fields (what chance) and all off this, weather permitting in the months of Nov/Dec/Jan & early March NO CHANCE!! I don't believe for a minute that all the nations mentioned above are subjected to the terrible facilities/elements on offer to our future Pro's. Fair weather football bring it on!! |
