| 54 | Don Burns | Sick of endless postponements in winter, then those that do get played are a joke on gluepot surfaces. To improve kids' skills they need to be able to play without hindrance. |

| 56 | Anonymous | about time this was put to the authorities, parks are garbage in winter so makes sense! |
| 57 | Master Bates | I agree. My young nephew plays for a youth team and every game has been cancelled for months. Last week was there first game and the pitches are a disgrace with the weather. |
| 58 | Peter McCallum | it makes sense |

| 62 | Tam Milne | The advantages of changing to summer football for kids will produce a far more enjoyable learning environment for kids to learn to play football. It could even work out cheaper for clubs without having to pay for floodlit or indoor training facilities. |
| 63 | Anonymous | I was the best player in my school but had bad circulation and struggled in poor weather conditions. Give the kids a chance and play in the summer, you know it makes sense! |

| 68 | Scott Robertson | In principle I support your petition and I am aware that certain Associations are being to move towards Summer Football.
It is not clear from your email or indeed the webpage who you are. Can you enlighten me? |

| 74 | Tony Wilson | Having only played 2 matches during Dec 2006 - Feb 2007 & 1match during Dec 2007 - 2008.
I feel that we need to review the football calender for youth football in Scotland and would support the petition for change.
I also beleive that young players should be asked to fill in a census for their views which should be taken into account. rather than adults making the decision for them.

| 81 | ANDY KER | YES I AGREE, TWO GAMES IN JAN & FEB NOT GOOD,
PARKS UNDER WATER . THE BETTER WE GET SUMMER FOOTBALL IT WILL SUIT ALL. |
| 82 | Tom Burnett | summer football not only makes sense in terms of Scotland's weather but means young people can play as many games of football as they want, insted of playing when they can!! |
| 83 | tam garrity | strongly agree my boy plays edin 1st only played
5 games in league to many cups to play in |

| 88 | David Charles | Let's hope this happens. Sure there will be some difficulties in making the shift happen to the above or something close - but uit's got to be worth it? |
| 89 | Jane Kelly | I am in total agreement of summer football as the pitches will not get as cut up and then there will not be as many injuries to players. Also there will not be as many call offs due to water-logged or frozen pitches. |
| 90 | John Mcalpine | It would greatly benefit the game Dramatically Improve within scotland at Youth Level. Less Call Offs and ability to play midweek games. |

| 97 | Graeme Boyce | I remember when I used to play many years ago there were many postponements in the winter and when we did get a game the pitches were pretty poor. Well the weather seems to be getting wetter by the year and eventually the kids will not get any games during November, December and January due to the wet pitches. Makes sense to switch. |
| 98 | Michael Mangan | Summer football is the obvious change to be made at all levels of the Scottish game in my opinion adding to improved conditions for players and supporters alike. |
