Anonymous | The election was a total shambles. I wish Douglas Alexander would be man enough to own up and admit that he made a total dogs dinner of it. But i suppose that is too much to hope for from a New Labour poodle. | 01 | 01
Murray | Shambollic election. Dissapointed with those responsable | 01 | 01
Anonymous | not worth your salary!!! | 01 | 02
Nikki MacLEOD | With upto 150,000 votes uncounted and in many counts, the number of spoiled ballots exceeding the majority, it is simply not possible that the final outcome was correct. In particular, many voters were trying to vote for smaller parties and not surprisingly these were the parties who lost more than most. It was a very clever, deliberate and successful attempt by the Scottish Office to exclude the smaller parties from the democratic process. In particular the Scottish Green Party may well have not lost any MSPs if all votes had counted. This is a scandal that MUST be addressed immediately and MSPs reinstated if appropriate evidence is uncovered. | 01 | 01

David Ferrard | We were all disgraced by the 2000 elections in Florida. Why should we not be utterly appalled by what's happened here in Scotland? If we are to take ourselves seriously it's time to question what went wrong. Perhaps we should invite the UN in next time to monitor our elections??? | 01 | 01

Craig Martin | Put local elections on a different day and we can half the amount of rubbish SNP cllrs elected to our councils. Post 1999 there were 7 SNP Cllrs in Falkirk, now there are 13 of them, only because there getting alot more publicity from the band wagon | 02 | 01
Anonymous | The changing of the voting system for the Scottish Parliamentary Elections in this election was an underhand action by the New Labour government which led directly to the exclusion of approx 150,000 ballots from this election. The turnout for this election was up on 4 years ago however l feel that the farce which was last week's election will only result in a lesser turn-out in 4 years time. I feel this is inexcusable. | 01 | 01
