Alasdair McDougallThe number of rejected papers is a national disgrace, an inquiry to save the democratic reputation of our nation is vital.

ALAN JOHNSTONEI wish a democratic election . 03 may 2007 Scottish Elections were, in my opinion , non-democratic. Nothing but a re-vote is acceptable to me.
Alastair BarronLabour + computerised counting + Labour links to company involved = strong smell of fish.

Edward BarbourIm thoroughly disgusted at the way this election has been conducted We have thousands of postal ballots that failed to have been received in time, so have missed out. We have ballot documents hat were ill conceived and reulted in hundreds of thousands of votes being disregarded and counting euquipment failing There is also question about how the Labour party had access to postal ballot papers before the polls closed
AnonymousI believe that this election should be declared null and void and rerun. The 2 elections, for the Scottish Parliament and local council should be separate, as was recommended. Over 100,000 spoiled votes is too many, considering a total Scottish population of only circa 5 million.

annie fraser....even more ridicule heaped on the farcical scottish parliament. OFF with their heads I say!! How much money is this costing the people of Scotland? Who asked for new voting system? What was wrong with the old one?

Dr. Colin WatsonThis was a disaster of unbelievable proportions. Sadly yet again it was the Executive flying without due care and attention. Thank goodness there is a "Wind of Change". What signal does this send to the electorate about the value of voting and the intelligence of the outgoing Executive ?
Jim McGhee
Rob. GillJust what I thought, feels very dodgy and suspicious indeed!!
Lis BardellAny one voter disenfranchised is an affront to . This number calls the whole process into question - whatever the outcome and whatever party one supports.

Gareth YoungPostal vote shenenigans, vote rigging, gerrymandering the constitution...and now this. Nu Labour have turned us into a banana republic. This latest balls up seems to have been timed to coincide with the SNP riding high in the polls.

Susan MacDougall

Niall MacGhillieAinriasAn absolutely shocking display of farcical proportions. How will we ever increase turnout if a significant percentage of the vote is disqualified?
Sally WelhamAbsolute shambles.
Jenny Hazel
Brian MurphyAnother shambles-they couldn't run a sweetie shop
Beth KermanThis certainly is a scandal.....it makes a mockery of voting.
