| 5 | Alan Smith | Didn't come as a surprise, been saying 'I told you so' all night. |
| 6 | Graeme Fairbrother | |
| 7 | ALAN JOHNSTONE | I wish a democratic election . 03 may 2007 Scottish Elections were, in my opinion , non-democratic. Nothing but a re-vote is acceptable to me. |
| 8 | Alastair Barron | Labour + computerised counting + Labour links to company involved = strong smell of fish. |

| 16 | Edward Barbour | Im thoroughly disgusted at the way this election has been conducted
We have thousands of postal ballots that failed to have been received in time, so have missed out. We have ballot documents hat were ill conceived and reulted in hundreds of thousands of votes being disregarded and counting euquipment failing
There is also question about how the Labour party had access to postal ballot papers before the polls closed |
| 17 | Anonymous | I believe that this election should be declared null and void and rerun. The 2 elections, for the Scottish Parliament and local council should be separate, as was recommended. Over 100,000 spoiled votes is too many, considering a total Scottish population of only circa 5 million. |

| 31 | Dr. Colin Watson | This was a disaster of unbelievable proportions.
Sadly yet again it was the Executive flying without due care and attention.
Thank goodness there is a "Wind of Change".
What signal does this send to the electorate about the value of voting and the intelligence of the
outgoing Executive ? |
| 32 | Jim McGhee | |
| 33 | Rob. Gill | Just what I thought, feels very dodgy and suspicious indeed!! |
| 34 | Lis Bardell | Any one voter disenfranchised is an affront to . This number calls the whole process into question - whatever the outcome and whatever party one supports. |

| 37 | Gareth Young | Postal vote shenenigans, vote rigging, gerrymandering the constitution...and now this.
Nu Labour have turned us into a banana republic.
This latest balls up seems to have been timed to coincide with the SNP riding high in the polls. |

| 39 | Susan MacDougall | |
| 40 | Jonathan Macpherson | |
| 41 | Niall MacGhillieAinrias | An absolutely shocking display of farcical proportions. How will we ever increase turnout if a significant percentage of the vote is disqualified? |
| 42 | Sally Welham | Absolute shambles. |
| 43 | Jenny Hazel | |
| 44 | Brian Murphy | Another shambles-they couldn't run a sweetie shop |
