| 154 | brenton weisert | A pool in an excellent location with an expanding population at the Kodak and Pentridge site.
To let it sit vacant has been a crime.
To redevelop it would be a great loss.
A public pool is an Australian suburban icon... |

| 159 | Ruth Leonards | As a resident of West Preston, I live very close to the Coburg Pool and used it as much as I could when I first moved into the area. I am a retired woman who is physically active, so I rode my bike to the pool, which I enjoyed throughout the months of January and February the last year it was open. I sincerely hope that the Moreland Council will allocate the needed funds to reopen this wonderful facility. |

| 162 | Julian Chapple | Many a hot day and sultry night, we have mourned the closure of the Coburg Olympic Pool. It is indeed our much-loved local swimming hole. Please use the necessary funds to re-open the Coburg Olympic Pool. |
| 163 | Anonymous | This could be a fantastic pool and much needed recreational hub for the community adding value to our environment and experience of living in this area. |

| 165 | Michelle Rayner | why is precious public space being sacrificied by greedy councils? surely Melbourne's inner suburbs should try and hold onto these places, like the pool, which define us? |
| 166 | Dr Richard Evans | I fully support this petition. The amount of money required to make this valuable community asset viable is modest in the context of the municipal budget, and the expense would be fair outweighed by the social benefits. I have taken my family to the pool in the past, and would certainly use it again were it to be re-opened. |
| 167 | Rebecca Avery | Please save this fabulous community outdoor space - located right on the Merri bike path, it's a winner for local families. It is a long drive to the nearest outdoor pool in the area! Help us get outside, and stay out of the car! |
| 168 | janetta kerr-grant | In times of climate change, when summers are hotter and longer, a functioning pool seems like simple common sense |

| 171 | Renato Colangelo | We as a family of 3, who live within 100 mt of the pool cant wait to start using it.. |
| 172 | Jason Murphy | Please keep this pool open. It is an important public building/service.
Thanks. |

| 176 | charmaine | I've been going to that pool since I was 4yrs old. 26yrs later I can't believe I have to sign a petition to keep it going! The memories make me smile but what is happening to it don't!! |

| 178 | Amadeo Marquez-Perez | We need our own swimming pool in Coburg. An outside pool that we can use in Spring, Summer and Autumn. |

| 182 | Geoff Mether | Pools are a used so much in life, growing up and learning to swim is a necessity in Australia. However, the local pool is so much more, my father for instance (67) has required access to a pool for rehabilitation for his medical issues - a pool means so much to a community. |
| 183 | Monique Kennedy | I can't wait to swim in the Coburg Olympic pool with my family..... |
| 184 | Malcolm Gunn | Sometimes a simple outdoor pool is enough. |

| 190 | Anonymous | Our son suffered anti social behavioural problems during his childhood which could have lead him up a very dangerous path in life. However he was able to spend many a summer at this pool interacting with other children which in turn I believe helped him make it through those very difficults years. This facility is more than just a community pool to the local and surrounding suburbs of Coburg and West Preston, it is life changing for some of this councils children. |
| 191 | Alison McCaig | A functional outdoor swimming pool will benefit all members of the surrounding area. Disadvantaged, alienated youth, isolated single parents, older people and families; all benefiting from local, affordable, healthy activity. |
| 192 | Sarah Tomasetti | Public swimming pools are vitally important community meeting points, particularly for teenagers and young families, who may have no other way of escaping the heat. |
| 193 | Sharyn Bailey | The council can't ignore the pleas of their voters/rate payers. Well done to COP/PLOP for your fantastic hard work in getting this far. I know it will be worth the fight. |

| 199 | Ben Johnson | We and our children have enjoyed the Coburg pool since 2000.
It has GOT to be worth the $355,000 to maintain the pool rather than build a new one (millions). It is beatifully situated and a great communal resource. |
