| 601 | marina | brodskaya-guttentag | CA | US | This is a valuable resource for the community because the films are timely and educational. Movies at Spangenberg and Gunn High School (not to mention the Distict) have been providing to the community a much needed alternative to the fare served up by the Century Theaters. |
| 602 | Robert | Knowles | CA | US | While I am no longer a local resident, I very much appreciated the film program at Spangenberg. It provided a venue for both relatively unseen foreign films and for popular domestic films after their initial release enabling increased cultural diversity in a town already known for culture. In that regard, the film program at Spangenberg should be looked upon as a treasure to be preserved.

| 609 | Shirley | Streifer | CA | US | I feel that Ms. Likens is "shooting herself in the foot" by complaining about an organization that not only pays rent, but also recarpeted Spangenberg. She should remember that a minority of Palo Altans do not have children in the schools but they support parcel taxes. She is offending this population and is transcending her authority. It is obvious from the many letters to the editor and this petition that the movie-going public want movies to be continued at Spangenberg. |

| 626 | Hinda | Sack | CA | US | It's a unigue addition to the cultural life of the community. Palo Alto has lost much of its uniqueness in the 20 years I've lived here. The movies at Spangenberg have felt like a reversal of that pattern. |
