Not only does it pay for itself, it raises much needed funds for the school. In addition, it offers the opportunity for the community the chance to see films that might not otherwise show in local theatres. I strongly support restoring the film program at Spangenberg Theatre.

Many of the films shown would not reach the community in any other theaters now operating. The audiences clearly value this program and the venue. The quality of the film choices makes the high school even more of an appreciated educational resource to our community. We are unfamiliar with the issues that might lead to the end of this welcome program, but have always felt that it is a highly appropriate additonal use of the Spangenberg facility, a return to the larger community that supports the public school system. Please reconsider the potential loss of this social and cultural benefit offered through the school's facilities.

The location, staff & offerings all work well for us. We are very disappointed that closing this movie house is even being considered. After Focus obtains their percentage, YOUR SCHOOL gets the rest! Teachers and schools are constantly complaining about not having any money....don't look a gift horse in the mouth! what's the matter with you!! KEEP THE THEATRE OPEN!!!!
