Words taken from www.lovegirls.co.uk \"Channel Four is not commissioning another series of the award-winning drama series about young lesbians in Brighton. Sugar Rush, made by production company Shine, will not continue on the channel despite its popularity with viewers and critics alike. Last November Sugar Rush won an International Emmy in America and two Stonewall Awards for Broadcaster of the Year. A Channel 4 spokeswoman has been quoted as saying there were never plans for a third or fourth series of Sugar Rush, insisting: \"It was concluded at end of the second series because we felt the girls\' story had run its course.\" The second series ended with Sugar moving into the flat Kim shares with her new girlfriend Saint.\" They say that the story had run it\'s course. What about it ending with Kim kissing Sugar, moving in with Saint and then having Sugar ask to move in. There\'s SO many possibilities for a 3rd series! This will be sent to Channel 4 in approximately 6 months.
