Save our beloved Carson Beckett

The petition

Our target is to keep Carson Beckett, played by Paul McGillion, on the show.
It seems the producers of Stargate Atlantis intend to kill the popular character during Season 3 of the extraordinary successfull show. The rumours, there will be an inhumation with a Scottish flag lying above the coffin is scarin the fans of Carson Beckett, the most known Scottish character of the show.

Doctor Carson Beckett is the heart and soul of the Atlantian infirmary. He cares for all of his patients, all beings - human or Wraith. He fights for the lifes of all kind of creatures.

Since his first apperance on the show, we - the fans - don't wanna miss him anymore!
He was very popular within the first season and so it was no surprise that he was listed in the opening credits on season 2.
