Dear Archbishop Sean,
We the parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish in Lexington do not understand what the Archdiocese of Boston will gain from our loss. We do not understand why you are not open to an option where the two Lexington Parishes would coexist in the most widely accepted linkage model for Catholic parishes in the United States. We do not understand how the Church stands to gain by suppressing Sacred Heart and denying us the canonical rights of a parish. We petition you to consider all options. |
