Kathryn | Harrison | |
Charlotte | Turner | | I use SEPTA every workday and occasionally on weekends. We certainly do not need more cars on the road to add to polution, to say nothing of the additional expense to the person.
Gail | Friedman | | SEPTA is not just a Philadelphia issue. Continued funding of reliable, affordable public transit is vital to the economic health of the region and to the livelihood and mobility of those who use it.

Nilda | Medina | | Please get funding for Septa soon. I can't see driving to work in center city everyday, polluting the air and contributing to traffic congestion. Don't raise fares and cut service.
Matthew | Funk | |
Anastasia | Hudgins | PA | Use your position of authority to do something that will ultimately benefit humanity and the earth! Be well remembered!

| 766 | Mary Day | Kent | | Keeping public transportation viable is essential to the future of our state. Pennsylvania is one of the states with the least success in lowering welfare numbers-inadequate transportation and inaccessible jobs contribute to that. Public transportation helps us all!

Lisa | Shiota | | To raise fares and cut service does a major disservice to Philadelphia. The city cannot thrive without viable, affordable public transportation. An full-scale audit is in order here.

Margaret | Reinig | |
Lauren | Donaldson | PA | I am a college student who does not have a car and I rely on the Septa rail to get me around during the week and on the weekends. I understand that money is tight, and I willing to help out by paying a little more to ride if needed. But the legislators need to do all they can to ensure that the trains will run on the weekends. Public transportation is vital and important for many people. Please help.
Alyssa | Work | PA |
Patrick | Guinan | |
Daniel | Nemiroff | | Philadelphia born-I am returning to the area in a few months and will depend on Septa every day. Please don't let it die.
Ezra | Shanken | CO |
Anthony | Brach | MA |
Robert | McGurk | | I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and feel strongly that government must tax fuel for private transportation as well as private ownership of cars more in order to support public transportation. Business transportation and vehicle ownership could be exempt from such taxation.
| 789 | Drake | Dwornik | PA | As a frequent user of SEPTA service, and a frequent driver who benifits from the reduced trafic, and a frequent voter (I have oted at every election I have been eligible for), I would request that you provide the money for SEPTA service to remain as robust as it is.
I am not opposed to a small rate hike, but it is vital that the service not be cut, if it were to be lost the cost to the states least fortunate would be catastrophic. |

Joanne | Balitzky | PA | Fixing public transportation in the Delaware Valley, Pittsburgh area, and smaller systems througout the state will benefit ALL Pennsylvanians by reducing emissions, conserving gasoline and keeping the economy strong. Think STATE and FUTURE not just re-election. Raise the tax on gasoline if you have to, I drive too and I'd pay extra to support mass transit for ALL of us.
Zach | Long | |
Daniel | Torigoe | | SEPTA is not only important to ordinary people and the regional economy as well as a majority of Philadelphians, but it also saves the environment by taking off a lot of cars on the public roads. If SEPTA's funding was drastically cut from the PA state budget, it would definately hurt the environment as well as a majority of ordinary people like me who want or need to ride their buses and trains.
