Judith | Hoover | PA | No matter how many tax cuts the City gives to to corporations, or how many incentives to build here, the City will never be the City it once was if no one can get to work or afford to use public transportation. If you want to make more money and encourage people to use public transportation, double the buses on the routes and cut the fares in half. In a relatively short time many more people will then use the dependable service regularly and the worker pool will be much large.

Nicholas | D'Arecca | PA | SEPTA is the main source of transportation for millions of riders in the region (including myself) and agreat public benefit that reduces traffic and pollution. Find a way to fund it!
Christine | Jereb | | As one of the Penn grads that actually decided to remain and work in the Philadelphia area after graduation, this situation will further thwart the region's attempt to embrace the talented youth that are thinking about calling Philadelphia their permanent home.
Michael | Gross | PA |
gwendolyn | thomas | PA | My position is to save Septa and have John Perzel come up with a way to do just that save Septa

Jonathan | Panofsky | PA | I think John Perzel should be ashamed of himeself. He is a philadelphian and I bet one of his family members rides SEPTA. May they have to walk!
Mary | Fineran | |
Ethan | Birchard | | State funding is for everyone! My taxes fund farms and other subsidies in rural Pennsylvania. Let's show some state unity.
Linda | Stevens | PA |
Christine | Costello | PA | I use Septa for work in the summer and for traveling home from school. If the services are cut, what are the hundreds of thousands of college studnets in Philadelphia to do. No to mention all of the doctors, nurses, and public service employees of the city.
Ameet | Ravital | PA | We need Septa to thrive and to be affordable for working people! Thank you.
James | Pope | |
Julie | Cox | PA | Please institute a permanent, ongoing source of adequate funding for public transportation in SE PA. This is a top priority to the economic health of this large area and of the state.

| 686 | Mary | Allen | PA | I care deeply about our environment. One of the assets of Philadelphia is the public transportation network; one of the weaknesses is the plethora of automobiles. Traffic conditions are often lethal; air quality and temperature are immediately affected by the number of cars and trucks on the road. Public transportation helps to improve our city in many different ways. Please work to support SEPTA so that services can be increased rather than cut.
Sincerely yours,
Mary D. Allen |
Harold | Cohen | PA |
Andrew | Esser-Haines | PA | The more that we rely on cars and fosil feuls the more truble we will be in when our oil supplies run out. Save our trollies and trains for the future.
Linda | Meredith | PA | Raising the fare to $3 is too expensive for the people who ride SEPTAS. And, it is unfair to cut back on services for people who depend on SEPTA for their daily use.
Jan Marie | Rushforth | PA | help save Septa please
janice | horan | PA | the phila gov should be ashamed of letting it get this far

Jeremy | Fahringer | PA | If you want to make more money in the city (which is probably the best way to balance the budget), you shouldn't even be considering dropping the suburban lines on weekends and nights.
