Lynn is currently not a city that has many things for kids to be proud of and involved with and it would be a shame to take this away from them. One suggestion, perhaps if the games were earlier in the day, especially on weekends, that would help improve attendance. I know it would make a difference to me and my family. |

People should realize that these group of guys playing and the organization have brought alot of joy to the people who truly enjoy the sport ,not the ones who come for the free stuff and leave after they get it.Those people should be ashamed of themselves and are a disgrace,but for the ones who have a love for the game and cant afford to pay the outrageous Major league Ball game prices-Those guys should never make that kind of money they do at the cost of the fans-Put a salary cap on all players.Look at these fine young men on the Spirits-they would pay ball for peanuts because they love the game and they make us love the game all the more. I am also quite upset and embarrased for the fact that the Mayor of Lynn and his staff did not do a darn thing in showing how proud he /the City of Lynn SHOULD be of the owner of the Spirits, Mr.Nick.Lopardo and of the Manager and all ball players,staff and employees especially after all they have done for the City of Lynn .Great job --Shameful -Absolutely no recognition in supporting or showing respect for how well this ball team did especially in returning from New Jersey recently -No parade,ceremony,escort into the city-These guys in my eyes should be treated as we would when the RedSox won the World Series because they played with their heart and soul not for the almighty $$$$ !!! This team has so much class.
Nick is a wonderful gentleman and this team couldn't ask for a better owner.
I wish that the city would come out and support the team. It is a great night out for a family with kids at a great price. The players are super fan friendly. To see the look on the little kids face is priceless.

I just found out about the Spirits this season. I've been to the games and I've had a real nice time. It was really great to go to a baseball game and not have to pay through the nose for it. Everything about the experience was great. I was planning to buy season tickets for next season. What a shame that it will be gone. I hope someone will try to keep this going. Again, I had a really good time at the games and I want this to continue. I drive all the way from Gloucester to go to the games if that will help any. |
