| 201 | Jean | Greenough | New York | The music, food and service are devine! Don't lose this hallowed ground to the finer things in life to a wrecker's ball. Why would you want to destroy one of the ingredients that make New york a magnet for visitors??? don't let this become another Village Gate.

Barbara | Wigren | Providence | You own a historic property and have an obligation to preserve this slice of NYC for future generations.
Joyce | Friedman | Morris Plains | What a crime to demolish such a beautiful building and a charming restaurant! Places like this are unique and contribute to New York's appeal!
Joan | Koenig | Bronx |
Ed | Dougherty | Randolph |
Kevin | Barnes | New York | The urban fabric of Hell's Kitchen and 43rd Street in particular would be irrevocably damaged if Le Madeleine was destroyed.
Allen | Werner | Venice | I think that it should stay since its been part of the community for so long people must love it.
Roy | Greenberg | New York | Stand firm. New York would not be the same without the slow food mentality of this wonderful resturant.
David | Cowan | Wellington | Don't take away our favorite NYC eatery.

Ivan | Strasburg | Los Angeles | This is by far my favourite Manhatten restaurant. It is inconceivable that it may dissappear.
Martin | Cunningham | New York | Le Madeleine is a unique gem of a restaurant - my wife and I have been dining there for years - and I am deeply disturbed at the possibility of losing it. Please reconsider your position. Thank you.
mark | denatale | locust valley | Truly a taste of France right in our backyard!
Heidi | Winston | New York | Celebrate the future by saving the past!
| 221 | Alan | Chumbley | New York | Please don't force this NY landmark restaurant out of business. Very few restaurants are able to make a successful business in NYC for three decades, and this one is a true gem!
Le Madeleine played an influential role in bringing Hells' Kitchen back to the vibrant economic state we currently enjoy. It must be protected and not punished for taking that risk. |
| 222 | Sherri | Bilson | San Marcos | I have eaten at LeMadeleine, and sent over 1oo people to eat there. In every case I and the people I referred were treated to an exceptional meal and a fantastic atmosphere. It would be a great loss to the community surrounding the resturant, if it were to have to close. Agreements made should be upheld. They have a lease. How can any small business compete in this day and age, if they cannot depend on the lease they have signed.
Sincerely,
Sherri Bilson |

Lissa | Lundberg | Phoenix | Le Madeleine is the only restaurant I always visit on my trips to the city. Le Madeleine must be allowed to complete its lease; it's the only fair thing to do.
joe | rodriguez | San Francisco |
Albert | Corwin | Venice | Please save and honor the remaining 12 years on the present lease agreement for this NY landmark, named for our step-granddaughter.
John | Smith | London |
Rick | Wald | New York | The place you are considering getting rid of is exactly what NYC needs more of. Don't do it.
Shauna | Hansen | ny | I worked at Le Madeleine for 5 years as a manager & corporate party planner. I had worked in restaurants my whole life and I never had a better experience working in a fine dining restaurant as I did here. The owner, Toney Edwards treated me like I was a part of his family, matter of fact, if anything ever was difficult for any employee, Toney & his staff went out their way to see if there was anything they could do to help, including money for rent, visiting people at the hospital, anything. I was given insurance & a 401k plan, highly unusual for any NYC restaurant. To let this restaurant not continue to prosper is a huge mistake & simply not right. The customers love coming in here, but it is their second home. There is nothing phony about this place. People are truly family here. I have never loved working in a resturant as much as I loved working there. Toney & his staff deserve to continue to do what they love to do. They do it so well & the neighborhood would be amiss with Le Madeleine.

Jim | Buckley | Scranton | I was introduced to Le Madeleine many years ago by New Yorkers that regularly frequented the establishment. I make a point to dine there as often as I can when I come to town. This place is New York, or at least as I would like to know/remember it.
JANE | WALENTAS | BROOKLYN |
Stuart | Penn | Centennial | I wholeheartedly support this petition.
Anna | Levin | New York | I promise to dine monthly at Le Madeleine if you allow them to stay. This restaurant continues to make Hell's Kitchen what it is now - an attraction for locals and tourists alike.
Michael | Kane | New York | Le Madeleine with its wonderful staff is a major reason the neighborhood is so desirable today. It would be a terrible loss for all concerned (including developers) to lose this neighborhood asset.
Jay | Marcus | New York |
Robert | Ditkoff | New York | Le Madeleine should, and Must, be allowed to continue to serve the community
Jim | DeNatale | New York | When is our government going to wake up and realize that BIG Business is killing the American worker? Small businesses like this are the backbone of America and they are litterally breaking our backs.
Bess | Libovitz | New York | It would be a pity to lose such a wonderful place. I am 84 years young and Le Madeleine means the world to me - don't let this happen! Bess Libovitz

Thomas | Fearing | New York | This restaurant is one of the best treasures in the city. Please allow it to remain.
| 248 | Charles | Davenport | Sarasota | Clinton needs community, not more office/condo projects. Cafe Madeline has been a wonderful presence on W. 43rd Street for years and years. What a tragedy for the neighborhood, for the theatre district, if it were no longer there. Please, as a former Manhattanite, I would ask you to reconsider.
