| 152 | Mike Bird | i agree with vicky's comments.
demolishing the hut makes no sense, surely having something for the kids to do (and keeping them "out of trouble") is more important than a few more houses! |

| 159 | Daniel Roberts | Save the hut! When I was growing up as a boy in brewood the scout hut was the main focus of most of my activities. Without this influence I dont think I would be where I am today. |
| 160 | Charli Smith | I used this scout hut as a kid for brownies and guides and then helped out at brownies. Please continue to let it be used for youngsters to enjoy. |

| 165 | Andy Craven | Scouting is a community group and turns out people with society values. If the land is worth more for housing then include a new scout facility in the scheme. |
| 166 | Nick Redrup | Its an absolute disgrace that the greedy council want to destroy the only thing for kids to do in Brewood. |
| 167 | Richard Fellows | Had many years of fun in the Scouts and Cubs |
| 168 | Andy Elwell | Theres plenty more alternative land in South Staffordshire for building houses .
Including some that local farmers / landowners want to release for building land but cannot due to red tape .
There is no reason at all for this scout hut to be torn down to make way for housing . |
| 169 | francis charlesworth | i agree with this cause! |

| 171 | John Look | Tearing down a house where scouts and scouters stay in order to guide the next generation of people to be better human beings should be frowned upon. It is espicially saddening that this action is taking place in Scoutings home, the United Kingdom |
| 172 | Sion Ridgway | IF the council do take it down Shouldn't they build or relocat yourselfs to anotehr site,
it's wrong if they don't they want to get young adults off the street and this is how the local goverment treat groups like scouts and Guides,
if you want to get funding for a new hut you could try the national lottery you guys area good case
let me know if i can help

| 181 | Paul Kelly | The Scout hut should be kept. It is a bigger service to the community than a few houses could ever be. Surely there are many other places which could be used for development that are not such an important service already. |
| 182 | Kate Jupp | |
| 183 | Ann Perry | Removing this facility for the young people of Brewood would be a very poor decision. |
| 184 | Anonymous | Don't give up the fight. Get your councillor 's involved and the developers. good luck |

| 186 | anthony | Think twice before putting kids out of their scout hut. |
| 187 | Lynne Hancher | I would have thought it more of a heritage site than a new housing site. What happened about thinking green.... to which village have council decided parents will have to take children to join cubs/scouts/brownies/guides ???? |
| 188 | Lynda Green | |
| 189 | Lyndsay Sherratt | Villagers will have to drive their children to other areas to attend scoutsand guides . We should encourage children to be eco friendly and not to use cars if at all possible . It is also a shame that village community life will be damaged too !! |
| 190 | Julia Collett | |
| 191 | Matty Joyce | save our scouts! |
| 192 | Laura ward | I think it's absolutely ludicrous that the council want to get rid of the scout hut. |
| 193 | Karl Paulins | If the scout hut is to be demolished, please ensure that the money is ploughed back directly to the benefit of youngsgters in the local community. |

| 195 | David Lawrenson | Keep the Scout Hut please |
| 196 | Mandy Paulins | If you must sell off the land at least provide somewhere else for our children to meet |
| 197 | Kathy Mac | Save the hut! Children need more facilities like this, especially in rural areas.... |
| 198 | Pauline Gandy | I suppose the council will blame the youngsters for hanging around the streets when they have no where to go. Even more erosion of amenities for the residents of rural communities. |
| 199 | Jonathon Cowie | I was a member of the 2nd Brewood Scouts for over 5 years and i thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The leaders, who devote a lot of their free time, do a tremendous job in organising activites for children aged 10-15 and everyone who is/was a scout would agree with me. I think it is appauling that the council is considering to sell the land because of apparent 'budget pressures' when, for nearly 50 years the 2nd Brewood Scouts has given so much to the community of Brewood and surrounding areas. The council is considering this despite the government attempting to get kids off the street and resorting to yobbish behaviour which the scout group has done a great deal towards. I think this is idea is ridiculous and should be stopped. |
| 200 | Colin Dowse | Staffs County Council should provide alternative accommodation for the scouts, cubs, brownies and guides before they knock down the hut after over 40 years just to make a quick buck. I thought the idea was to encourage young people to keep off the streets. Th county council are doing the exact opposite. |
