51 henry southallsave it would be a great shame
52 James BleachFirst we had the prospect of losing the park, now the scout hut which has provided kids with plenty of organised activities and youth clubs for years. What the hell, force more kids into the village centre to hang around with nothing to do, as long as there are a couple more over-priced houses that aren't even affordable to most people. That makes more sense definately!!!!!
53 Adrian SmithObviously scouting offers opportunities for many children and young adults to grow up as independent, well rounded individuals. Actions such as this cannot be good for any community

67 angela houghwent to brewood scout huts as a child i am now 35 went to brownies and guides not my daughter is going there please dont close them down.
68 Doug RaeCome on Parish Council - the Scout Huts and the facilities they provide are an essential part of the village and more importantly, the sense of 'community'. If you take them away, you loose some of the charm of Brewood - not to mention the fact that once again, youngsters in this village are getting a raw deal. I was furious when I heard the news and am disgusted that a Parish Council with the 'best interests' of it's parishoners could do such a thing.
69 Dale ThompsonI find it hard to believe that a professional body that should be focussing on childrens welfare are more concerned at lining their pockets and taking away a meeting place for a voluntary group and showing no remorse, shame on you. GSL 1ST West Craven Scout Group, East lancs

76 Jim DruryWhen i was younger I was a member of Brewood Youth Club and I feel it would be a traversty to close it, the council moan about youths on the streets in the villiage, this happens because of the lack of things for them to do, this problem will only be worstened by closing the youth club and the scout groups. Regards Jim Drury
77 Denise DruryAs an ex venture scout leader at Brewood I know the benefits and experiences that can be gained by giving youths the opportunity to experience life (and Duke of Edinburgh Award) under the protection and tutelage of their scout leader.

79 RICHARD WILLIAMSThe council should ashamed, The seem to have no idea what people in brewood want, i am sure they will dress them up as being starter homes for people in brewood. (which will then turn out to be £500,000 houses to make someone lots of profit)

88 Laura Vaughanwere will all the beavers and cubs and scouts go, and I don't think there is enough room or suitable ground for housing ++ what about the houses opposite being constantly despruptive. We are already having a new housing estate built at the bottom of engleton lane causing desruptions, this would further add to it.
