267 AnonymousI live well within a thirty-mile radius of the Power Plant and was unaware that the health of so many was at risk. Time will tell how many people have suffered illnesses because of this. Closing this plant is overdue.

289 christine arenaAccording to the EPA, burning coal is a leading source of global warming pollution, and also the dirtiest way to produce electricity. In fact, CO2 emissions from coal burning plants exceed the emissions produced from all cars and trucks on our roads. It is an outrage that, knowing all of this, we continue to rely on coal as a leading source of energy. We need to work together to put a stop to this dirty business before it is too late.
