Alan Parker | Stop this road from spoiling a bit of history.
Timothy Griffiths | It is so saddening to see the total lack of support for local aviation yet again being shown by a local council. Local Airfields are of national importance as places individuals can train for careers in aviation and that starts with grass roots activities. An established airfield that is big enough also stops any future issues that can upset residents when new airfields are proposed. Destroying local airfields is short sighted.
david simmons | We have thousands of roads, for millions of cars, but only a few historic and valuable airfields. Especially one with such a well preserved tower. Somehow we have to stop the never ending erosion of such beautiful places.

A Bertoloni | As Treasurer of the Bury Model Flying Club, not only do wholeheartedly support the comments from the Friends of Rougham Tower Association, but I support it also on the grounds that the relief road will curtail future model flying on this site.

Raymond Alan Rooks | Why is it that bigwigs think that they can ride roughshod over all and sundry citizens, who are probably payin their salaries, and WHY go right across a airfield for no real reason.
Dave Towell |
David Last | as a model flyer it is important to me to keep rougham airfield open
| 1772 | Brian H. Hunt | Dear Planners,
Please do not put the road through such an important historical site. So many good men lost their young lives flying from this airfield. Please respect their memories.

Jacqueline Fare | My father was a navigator aboard a B-17 (Milady) and part of the 94th Bomb Group stationed at Rougham Field during WWII. I would hate to see this historical building jeopardized.

Tony Crowe |
Anonymous | stop the relief road and leave some countryside for people hobbies and interests, also stop digging up places for the sake of digging them up. the road in place already is just fine.
