Anonymouswhy stop an awesome spot for an amazing sport to be used for polluting the area instead????? dont understand that.....no need for a road. a bit of green can be nice!! we do see far too many cars about these days for my liking anyway. abismal plan.
adam fosberrysurly the alternative route would be better for the commercial side of things what with that route going through the industrial estate
Ross Newlands
Martin CorrieWe must stop this road now. There are alternatives which can avoid messing up the flying and festival area. but the council have NOT taken any notice, why I ask !!! Please add your name to this petition, thanks On behalf of the Suffolk Kite Flyers Martin Chairman Suffolk Kite Flyers Suffolk International Kite Festival organiser
AnonymousNot been there but would hate to see fellow flyers done out of a good site............may see you one day when up that way visiting relatives..............

Docgreenperfectly good road already there.........
Dick AdamsAs a serving RAF member, I feel a little more respect for an important military memorial is called for.
stewart ross
Wayne Harristhis would be a assualt on a beautiful bit of land and cannot be allowed to happen
Paul DentonI disagree with the proposed plan of the connecting road which will divide the airfield, impacting upon the Tower and uers of the airfield for recreational purposes. The alternative southern perimeter track should be used.
Paul RichardsonI would much prefer NOT to have the link road built...But if it has to happen please choose the "alternative" option
Stuart mcmaster
s wyllie
Dan Gilkes
Stewart LintonThe airfield gets too much use to build a road through it, we are fast running out of open spaces such as Rougham so to be road would be ridiculous!

Phil DerbyIF a relief road is required, then at the very least, the alternative route should be used.
C J AdamsThis is an insult to all those commemorated by the newly dedicated war memorial at the Rougham Tower. When they came to Bury St Edmunds to fight and die for our freedom, we were happy to have them supplement our RAF flyers. Let's continue our past record of honouring their sacrifices.
Anna CorriePLEASE LOOK THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTES TO AVOID THE AIR FIELD!
Hugh PriorThis is suffolks best open space on a very important historical air field. Please do not destroy!

AnonymousSeems the Suffolk Councils are doing their best to wreck this county, its not just Rougham
David ChickThe council are there to serve the needs of the taxpayers / voters and listen to their voices not just push through there own pet schemes. Look at all the possibilities and listen to users and locals.

Mr s DavisGot enough roads round hear ! Try getting planners with common sense !!! Thats wot i say !!! Grid locking Bury with one systems and neadless traffic lights !!!!!
Lewis Nixonplease do not build this! as there is another road that will not effect many people.
Jo HunterPlease don't cut our airfield in two! Thousands of local people enjoy the site every year, and many more appreciate the quiet ambience of the Control Tower Museum. Large trucks and noisy traffic rolling through the middle of all this would be a crime.
Keith JillingsPLEASE do not let shortsighted short-term thinking destroy forever a site that is a historic monument to some very brave men who fought for our freedom - or to destroy forever an irreplaceable amenity.
Stephen SlaterIt would indeed be a tragedy if poor planning practice and short-term decision making were to rob us of a superb amenity which is used for relaxation and leisure for so many in the local community. Those who live farther away will also be affected, by the impact on what is a special historic location. If that in turn prevents visitors attending Rougham in the future, it too will have an effect on the local economy. Please think again!!
