| 1305 | Barbara Mabry | I oppose the TIP Charter School. PVPUSD is an excellent school district with a proven track record with education. |
| 1306 | Anonymous | At times like this, the current schools need all the money they can get. |
| 1307 | marie gibbel | it is not appropriate in palos verdes we have Cornerstone and private schools to fill the needs of these families have these people not read U.S NEWS & WORLD REPORT we have 2 top rated high schools in the same school district shame on them1 |

| 1309 | marilee smith | As a veteran teacher of 22 years at Soleado School I value the contributions made by the PVPUSD resulting in a superior educational experience.
Taking state aid away from this district for such a
selfish undertaking is inexcusable. |

| 1311 | phil pitchford | I have studied the arguments and points of both sides of this major issue. I have no children . I do support the PVPUSD for many of the above reasons. I have donated over $50,000 to the PVPUSD to help the disabled, the handicapped, and the wonderful programs provided such as the Drama depts of both high schools and a special garden for the handicapped. Last year, Peninsula High School had 2 of the top 20 students in the country recognized by USA TODAY. Never has one high school achieved this honor for 2 students.
Finally, I worry about the children of these parents that seem to have many agendas driving them that do not connect to the educational and emotional needs of the student(child). I truly worry that the conflicts mentioned above could actually hurt these kids if problems occurred that were similar to the TIP Encinitas school encountered( see NCTimes.com - "Two-year-old charter school faces conflict", by Barbara Henry). Thank you , Phil Pitchford, Palos Verdes Peninsula |

| 1313 | Anonymous | I definitely do not want this charter school in Palos Verdes. Take a look at this article and all of the blogs on TIP Encinitas. What a nightmare!

| 1316 | Anonymous | Don't allow it. It has already siphoned funds out of the Encinitas district. Also, "founders" kids were the first to get in. Just a way for parents to avoid paying private school fees, at the expense of the rest of us. Encinitas elementary school parent. |
