bob | Just Keep it how it is, maybe expand it or fix a few loose screws, but thats it, its fine,
Andrew Symington BEng(Hons) | Concrete for a skatepark material is more durable, requires less maintenance and has proven worldwide to bing in tourists just to skate the park.
mitch | i also think there should be a begginer area
ryan alcock | it would be good if this could go somwere!

Jack Hutt | get one in hinckley too
ali butler | i fully back this petition. as an older rider i beleive that it is the councils responsibility to provide a safe place for the younger kids to practice
Anonymous | concrete parks created by the council always turn out terrible, if a concrete park is being created i suggest you consult the local users in order to get their point of view, otherwise it will result in a park that is unused, therfore being a waste of council money. Also the current wooden pak provides a place for youths and skatepark users to go and is very popular and because of this anti skateboard law it is seemingly a ridiculous development to take away a well used park when it could simply be maintained more regularly.

graham townsend | its not the users of the skatepark that are doing the damage, its people that come from surrounding areeas like liverpool!!

Garth Crawford | Personally, I ride BMX and I know that BMX and skateboarding can be frowned upon sometimes when not in designated areas. I have visited the facility in Southport and enjoyed it although it does need some maintainence and it is very dangerous when damp! A new facility in Southport would enable an already amazing scene to progress so much further!
