| 52 | Anonymous | there is no need. the skate park is a fun and safe place to be. i think it was too far to ban skaters for just skating in town. |

| 61 | Joe taylor | Sort it out NOW. Young people are getting chased by chavs CONSTANTLY, give them a place where they can be safe and do what they love. I mean, The chavs have McDonalds, why can't the skaters have a decent skate park? |

| 67 | steven bates | knock it down and build a new one |
| 68 | Mark Shenton | Another quality skatepark for the UK is always welcome and due to my involvement in the STOKEPLAZA project has proved that if you build what skaters want and trust their knowledge and judgement, then it will get used to the max and skaters will travel to use it! |
| 69 | mikey 'skelmo' brookes | erm yeah help em out new parks are always welcome
peace |
| 70 | Martin Eves | If your a good council you'll provide somewhere decents for people to practice free sports i.e Rollerblading, BMXing and skate boarding. You don't wont people doing these sports on the streets but yet you DONT provide addiquate places to for people to partake in these sports. Dont be like other councils that spend there money on crap and moan about skateboarder recking park benchs.
BUILD SOME WHERE DECENT |

| 90 | Anonymous | I think police should patrol the skate parks because of many incidents which have accured, the park should also be in a big open area, not cramped next too where
many people frequently go past. |
| 91 | Anonymous | Give people (skaters) of all ages a legitamate outdoor activity and maybe the peoples of the world will become a little less fat from sitting around doing nothing but eating junk food and surfing the net for useless information. Young people will benefit immensely from such a location as a local skate park. Screw X-box!!! Give kids the "Real Deal". Just build it properly and not some pile of shit that will fall to bits in a couple of years, that will leave kids in no doubt yet again that the community doesnt take young folk seriously. Young people are the not too distant future when we will be too old to do anything about what they decide for on our behalf. Tony, 36 and still skating!!! |
| 92 | A SUDLOW-LANE | yes it fully agree that a new facilliaty should be bulit . as normall a quick fix was done by local council and then left . it is too small and has fallen into disrepair. and i bet the get out of being sued sign is up ( all those who enter here and use this site do so at his or her own risk and the council do not accept any responsability for any loss damage or ingery how so ever caused ) . my son uses this site and he loves it making a bigger more permante site would be fantastic . and i wouldn't hold any one to account if he ever got injured using it . thats how kids get stiffiled and end up being unfit and over weight by not being allowed to play freely |
| 93 | Anonymous | i think it is true that we are getting targeted like i got spat on the other day and the park is reacked |
| 94 | Marc Garland | I can only hope that Southport Council can see that Skating / BMXing is a POSITIVE activity. It gives otherwise 'bored' kids something to do and is a positive physical health benefit to the younger generation. |
| 95 | Anonymous | i feel the youths of southport need good facilities for them to use and i think if they are being banned from the town centre because of the damage skate boarding can do the cost will be negligable |
| 96 | Logan Mattox | |
| 97 | robb white | we need a prober skatepark with a jump box aswell as other things!!!1 |
