| 701 | theobald | i cant believe that it is even being considered for removal .........incredible |
| 702 | kevin Jones | Please let's keep these statues where they are meant to be, here on Merseyside! This is a wonderful opportunity for Liverpool to place itself even more firmly on the map as a city of culture and excellence. Removing the "iron men" would be a terrible backwards step for us all. |

| 705 | Veronica Turner | When we visted crosby beach it was rather cold and windy so we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. We are thrilled to hear they are staying and we will be over the moon if they stay perminantly. We will then have the chance to see them again and perhaps stay longer this time.
Yes, we all say keep them here, this is were they belong. |
| 706 | Sarah Parry | I love them and I haven't yet seen them in flesh yet! We have the Angel here up North and would love to see another fantastic piece of Gormley art stay in the North West and be enjoyed forever like our Angel. |

| 712 | Anonymous | I brilliant feature. We had a superb afternoon walking around the area watching the statues being slowly revealed by the receding tide. A great addition and one we will visit again to see how it changes over time. It has to stay! |

| 719 | clive ramsdale | as a lecturer at the university of northampton I would like my students to see this sculpture for years to come |
| 720 | Rebecca Sexton | Please keep the Gormley's on Mersyside! |
| 721 | Jane Wadkin | I live in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, and travelled to the site yesterday to see this amazing work by Antony Gormley. Crosby Beach is the perfect setting for them: the constant traffic in and out of the port contrasts beautifully with the stock-still figures gazing impassively out to sea. It can only be a lose/lose situation for Crosby, Sefton, Liverpool and Great Britain if 'Another Place' is relocated to another place. |

| 726 | heino hugel | Dear Sirs,
I strongly support this petition. I think the figures fit marvelously onto Crosby Beach and have brought a lot of positive attention to the beach and the area. I hope it is achieved to keep them where they are. |

| 728 | Jane Brunning, Save The Ribble Campaign | Keep the Gormleys on Crosby beach! They are a fantastic piece of artwork which brings so much to the area, and more widely represents our intimate relationship with our seas and coastlines, and all without causing environmental damage, unlike so much of what is attempted in the name of "tourism" such as barrages and watersports parks... |
| 729 | Peter Flynn | I have visited the installation several times and whenever we have visitors we take them to see it. They are all enormously impressed and it provides a highlight for any visit to Merseyside. It seems enormously relevant to the area's relationship with the river and the movement of people along it. With the capital of culture year almost upon us it would be tragic to lose such a major and iconic work of art. |
| 730 | G. Chippendale | ,I am looking forward to go and see them with my camera, |
| 731 | Andy McTaggart | This stunning , remarkable and brilliantly simplistic Gormely creation , is inspiring , embracing and stimulating. The Iron men of Crosby are the keepers of the beautiful sandy beach who never fail to give any and every visitor a warm and deeply fulfilling welcome. Removing the sculptures would be both a crime and a wonderfully unique opportunity squandered.

| 740 | joyce french | these sculptures are wonderful and should stay where they are. apart of british culture for others to see in generations to come. |
| 741 | Anonymous | Please, please let them remain. They look so right in their place. We love to visit from Wales to see them. |
| 742 | Steve Sewell | I visited Crosby beach last Sunday after seeing the statues on the local news. I cannot believe that somebody wants to move them, they must stay so that more and more people can visit and enjoy the experience |
