| 5 | angela heslop | I live in Crosby and when I was recovering from an operation earlier this year I regained my physical and emotional strength through walking on the beach among the statues. They inspire me and fil me with hope. |

| 7 | Rachel Littlewood | they are a treasure and should be kept and respected as such |
| 8 | Collette Rawlinson | Save the Gromley's, they are wonderful for the city! |
| 9 | Matthew Taylor | Liverpool cannot call itself Capital of Culture by ridding itself of one of its artistic landmarks due to small-minded demands by a bunch of NIMBYs. |

| 11 | Louise Sutton | |
| 12 | Steve Talbot | We've had friends travel from Spain to see this work.
A piece with an international profile in Crosby. You'll miss it when it' gone!!! |
| 13 | John Birkinshaw | Yes - please keep those wonderful statues ! |

| 15 | Anonymous | I am emailing to pledge my support for the Antony Gormley statues to remain in the fabulous setting of Crosby beach. This work, made by the UK's most high profile artist add something trully unique to the north west and reveal that we are visionary enough to bring culture into the heart of all that we do! |

| 18 | Margaret Bell | They should stay as otherwise the beach is rather soul-less |
| 19 | Scott Turner | |
| 20 | graeme phillips | The statues have become an integral part of Crosby Beach, they provide pleasure, amusement, visual drama and provoke thought deep or whimsical, and must remain at all costs |
| 21 | Anonymous | I work for tourisim on Merseyside, and believe me the Anthony Gormley statues are a BIG draw. Even before there was the fuss about the move, we get many enquiries about them.
Long may the reside on merseyside!!
Look at the Lambanana. People either loved or hated him, but we would hate to see him go now. |
| 22 | Rosalind Gordon | I like them and would be sad if they walk off. xxxx |

| 31 | Wibke Hott | One of the projects that also shows Liverpool's committment and investment into the non-city centre areas! *ahem*
(all together now:) KEEP THE STATUES! KEEP THE STATUES!!! |

| 35 | Joanne Medcalf | I agree that having such a world renowned piece of work in the area can only be beneficial, especially taking into account the forthcoming Capital of Culture status. They do not appear to be causing harm to anyone, and removal seems a ridiculous act - I do not know what statement they are trying to make, but I don't think it's working! |
| 36 | Pat Breen - O'Neill | These fantastic sculptures can not be allowed to leave the banks of The Mersey.
Save the Crosby 100!! |
| 37 | Esther Wilson | It's the Capital of Culture in 08 for goodness sake!
It's art for us minions in a public space. Is that scary or something?
Don't make Liverpool a laughing stock. |
| 38 | Andrew Serlin | |
| 39 | Paul Regan | Repositioning Merseyside as a place where arts and culture can prosper can only benefit from such a significant work by such an important artist. To lose them would send the opposite message. |
| 40 | Roger Sinek | This work has captured the popular imagination and that's reason enough for it to stay - the commercial benefits to the region are a further bonus. "Health and Safety" will be the death of our culture if it continues to be used as an excuse to smother cultural vitality. |

| 48 | Anonymous | These statues are unique and remarkable on the coastline at Crosby. I'm sure that it's possible to address any environmental or safety concerns and hope that a solution can be found to keep them. |

| 50 | Helen Brown | These are world class artworks by a world class sculptor. To remove these artworks prior to Liverpool becoming capital of culture will be an act of complete idiocy by Sefton council. The councillors will be judged by future generations…………… |
