Navistar: Save Dodge and Jeep!

The petition

Dodge and Jeep owners: The recent partnership formed between Chrysler and FIAT will probably save the company, but hear me out: Let's try to get an American company to take over the truck, van and SUV lines. My idea is to have Navistar, the parent company of International Truck and Engine, buy Dodge, Jeep and the MOPAR Parts division. In doing so, Navistar can become the worldwide leader in military truck manufacturing by taking over the iconic Jeep brand, and return to the light truck market after a 30-year absence by rebadging Rams and Dakotas as Internationals, Nitros as Scouts, and Caravans as Travelalls. Just like Chevy and GMC being essentially the same, International could be the "Professional Grade" product, while Dodge and Jeep would be the consumer brands.
