165 Gerhard JohanningMy father, together with his father, was sent to the Arbeitserziehungslager Bremen-Farge in October of 1944 where he met the Irish imprisoned there. His mother being jewish, he spent two weeks there before being sent to the Arbeitslager Lenne. We are currently visting Germany to participate in events with the Association Dokumentations-und Gedenkstaette Geschichtslehrpfad Lagerstrasse commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the beginning of WW II .
