It is by far the best sci fi ever made and gave me a great sense of admiration for the great people who make this and saddness for them for being cut. Should never have happended but a network has gotta do what it feels it needs to do. I just hope some network out there picks up the tab for a follow on to the peacekeeper wars ideally a full fleged season, that would be awesome. Farscape is a one of a kind, it aint no star trek or sg1, its better and has the support of millions behind it. My best wishes go to those who made the show and all the other fans out there who support this great show. All we can do is hope. |

I have discovered Farscape in syndication on A-Channel in Canada. As far as I can tell they only have the first through third season. They ended with a cliffhanger (to be continued) and today the series restarted with the premiere. I have to admit that I have never heard of Farscape before (since we don't get the Sci-Fi Channel -- we have Space) but just one look at the series and I was hooked. To me this is what Sci-fi should be as I never liked Star Trek. As a Star Wars fan Farscape appeals to me and I'll wager it would appeal to more SW fans if they were targetted. I know that a fifth season would be a stretch but I am hoping that another mini-series is in the works. |

The funny thing is that this happened at 2002, when the total stupidity of NBC channel at the early '60s - canceling "star trek" after 4 seasons is still a bad example of short-sighted show business decision in every show - business management college all over the world, a joke between movie industry executives..well, we had the chance to experience another similar "joke" 45 years later....
