Now that the internet has become the world's most mainstream method of contact, certain individuals are seeking to turn it into the most profitable business commodity. Virgin Mobile is the biggest perpetrator. They are in the process of making a deal that will give some websites faster, easier internet access...in exchange for lots and lots of money. While this alone is not yet a big deal, it could start a trend, and suddenly the freedom of the internet itself will be compromised by corporate CEO's looking to line their own pockets!

This outrage can NOT come pass. WE THE PEOPLE MUST PROTECT THE FREEDOM OF THE INTERNET! THE FREEDOM TO DO WHAT WE WANT WHEN WE WANT! ARE YOU GOING TO LET CORPORATE BIG WIGS GET EVEN RICHER OFF OF YOUR FREEDOMS? IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THE INTERNET SHOULD BE SHARED BY ALL OF THE PEOPLE OF THE WHOLE WORLD, AND NOT JUST BY WHO HAS THE DEEPEST POCKETS, THEN YOU NEED TO SIGN THIS PETITION!
