Jeni LewisSave our GFL and Jeni, evenings will never be the same
Graeme Hill
Rob ElfordThis is devastating news. I cannot believe this fantastic show and presenter are being axed!!
Michele BackwellI am absolutely devastated to see the show and jeni go! it proivided a highlight to my day and encouraged me to take up cooking on a more regular basis. Jeni's flare and humour make a sometimes laborious task very entertaining and enjoyable!! I don't appreciate the lack of feedback from whoever the powers may be that made the daft decision to take to show off air!!
AnonymousI am appalled that this show is being axed, I believe it is short sighted and failing the GFL audience and it should be reinstated.
Joanna kempI am not a foodie, I don't like cooking but the show has given me a new passion for cooking, and a greater interest in food.........keep GFL.
Jennifer BenedictHere here
AnonymousLove the show!
AnonymousWe watch the show every day and will miss it!
Suzanne JonesWhat a ridiculous thing to do!!!!
mark harringtonGFL is the best programme on UK TV Food. Food Uncut was the second. You have got rid of one, now I shortly have no reason to tune into the channel. Bring back GFL NOW! Or are you planning to show Heavens Kitchen 24/7?
Ann JonesWhy cancel such a great program?
katherine12amen to all that has been said! Jeni IS uktvfood!!!!!!!
AnonymousPlease, please, please do not take Great Food Live off air. It is the best programme on television and Jeni is such a great presenter.
katherine12amen to all that has been said! Jeni IS uktvfood!!!!!!!
Cath CourtneyYou must be mad, Jenni and the host of regulars provide a welcome blow of fresh air to the dull, formulated t.v. food programmes on all the other t.v. networks!
dinnerladycouldnt have put it better myself.
Jane N-DPlease don't axe GFL it is one of the best food programmes around. And Jeni is the best presenter around. You must be mad to axe this programme - theirs plenty of dross that could do with axing but NOT GFL.
ALAN SAUNDERSThere is a lot more to this decision than we are being told about. Somebody's feathers have been ruffled.
WilliamIt's crazy. People love the show, it's popular..and it's turning viewers onto cooking - just what else is a food channel supposed to do exactly?????? To the head honchos at UKTVFood, I really hope you know what you're doing because I guess your jobs depend on us liking your plans for the channel...and so far.....
Marie BellIt's the best cook programme i have ever watched, it's informative and fun and the presenter is fantastic. My evenings wont be the same without it. Please don't take it off air. That goes for me and all my family who are big fans of the show.
Gary MalkinThis programme should nopt be taken off the air, it has encouraged me to do more cooking and be more experimental. It is both educational and entertaining, Jenny is a fantastic host and the chefs are all knolagable and entertaining.

J CollinsIf anything, we need MORE GFL!!
Emma CrawleyLife is going to be a much duller thing without Jeni & the GFL team on our screens.
Mark WaltonGreat Food Live is one of the most unique and original food shows on TV. I've watched it religiously since day one and cannot for the life of me understand why you would want to take it off the air. It has helped me try new foods and to become a much better cook, as well as keeping me entertained in the proccess. PLEASE reconsider your decision and keep the show on the air. Mark Walton Chester, UK
L LawrensonBring back the best program on uktv
Ryan
Steve RushSave Good Food Live!!!!!
roy whittis their any other reason to watch uktvfood?
Jeff PhillipsYour best show - cut the fiftieth repeat of Heaven's Kitchen/Rick Stein/Nigella Bites etc insteadand keep the originality of this live programme.
Rosemary CrowtherIt will be a real shame if this programm is taken off the air, Jeni is a joy to watch. She always seems to ask the questions I'm thinking.
Claire ReevesJeni is utterly wonderful. The perfect presenter - knows her stuff, funny and stops the chefs getting to "up themselves".
StuartI don't know what the contractual reasons for taking this programme of air, but I do believe it is one of the most original entertaining food shows on air. All other 'live' programmes are a pale copies of GFL
Robert
kathy stirrupI will be very sad to see the end of GFL, my family and I watch it every day. We can't understand why such a great programme is being taken off air.
Martin RoughleyLONG LIVE GFL !!
sybilWhat aer the suits thinking replace Jeni who is the sole presenter.with a show that will have four or five???????? Surely it can't be the expense....why fix something that isn't broken...KEEP JENI..........she is a beam of light in an otherwise dull world' Sybilxx
AnonymousThe decision to axe GFL shows unbelievably poor judgement and, unfortunately, the decisions makers will shortly find they have fewer sponsors/advertisers for their very poor programme schedule which, with the exception of GFL, consists entirely of incessant , very old repeats.
anna hodkinsonI am truly gutted that the ONLY show on uktvfood that is worth watching is going, I have watched GFL for many years and can only pressume that the person in charge of the decision has undergone a lobotomy or has suffered a nasty blow to the head and will come to their senses! Jeni and GFL are an institution, one that has given me many, many hours of enjoyment over the years and, quite frankly, an institution that I will not let go of without a fair bit of kicking and screaming. As said above, if Jeni goes I go, and judging by the amount of people that seem to feel the same way, I wouldn't like to be an exec at uktvfood in the next few weeks!
ChristineBest programme on TV - save GFL GFE and Jenni!
AnonymousDoesn't make any sense - why leave all the repeats runnning time and time again when this show is fresh, entertaining and educational?
JBayThis decision would be all the more ludicrous if we discover that it's down to internal wrangling! Which seems like a real possibility given the lack of explanation over such a contentious act!. The people to suffer are the one's that count and that's the viewing audience! I sincerely hope that someone comes to their senses because it's the best show the channel has to offer. Don't worry Jeni we'll continue to support you where ever you may find yourself! Keep smiling and stay beautiful!
AnonymousIt's a great and unique show - in my household we watch it for huge slabs of the day. I don't think we'll be watching the touted replacement.
Tim MacIntyre
Dorothy ImriePlease someone listen to the viewers. GFL is too good a programme to be removed from its slot. It is entertaining, funny and informative. Nowhere else would we have heard or seen the "new" chefs of today. Who is interested in Tanna Ramsay? I for one will not be watching this fake programme!
