| 7 | Rose Lamarche | I am tired of the unfair practices in Louisiana and believe that we should be treated as fairly as the actors in California and other states. Cast and Crew seem to treat background like dirt. My feeling is that we are just as important as anyone else as without us the movie would be worthless. We are demanding fair treatment in Louisiana. |

the current Non-Union Background Coverage situation in Louisiana. |

the industry that " background " actors are nothing
more than dirt. Why should they be treated as second class citizens ? TRY making a film without
them ! |

| 24 | Fabian Espinosa | Greetings, I believe we need SAG to take control of our State thus allowing those who are serious in persuing an acting career get a better pay plus benefits such as long and short term disabilty, dental, vision, etc, etc . I am an actor who is working hard to achieve my dreams. My stage name is Gino Galento and I am in persuit of an acting/stunt career and a union card such as SAG means a lot to me. I would like to get one asap, but if I get one now then unfortunately I will not be able to find enough work to make a living here in Louisiana due to State of Louisiana current status.... Be blessed. Fabian. |

| 26 | Jason Lammons | I am very interested in seen a more reasonable means to join the guild, with information at movie job sights, most people have no idea what it takes to join (cash or experience wise). There is no reason a person that devotes their time (sometimes 17 hours a day) and effort continuously cannot be a member of the SAG. I find it an "elitist" (which only means someone's daddy knows someone else's daddy or they have large sums of cash - most likely earning that large sum dishonestly) grouping as of now and quite unfair to cater to a certain genetic pool rather than all hard working actors/extras. Make some changes and you'll see it benefits not only the talent but also the guild, this is 2008 & if ideals cannot be revised with the times the institution will fall (just look at our government). |

Why should Louisiana background actors not be treated the same as other states actors. Thank you. |

| 42 | Brandon Helmes | This is a very important for all louisiana actors, this subject matter should not be handled lightly, but with the attention it desrves. |
| 43 | Lauri Anne David | We need to be able to take care of our background actors so, we can take care of the productions we work for without compromising our morals. |

| 46 | Anonymous | Having worked as an Extra recently (even though I work as Crew), I think it's important for Louisiana residents to have the same opportunity to make the additional dollars that "others" in the industry make in our competing states! |
