paul cole |
Derek & Ann RITCHIE | We strongly oppose the proposed development of any housing at High Hall or in any part of Albury Village. Such development would destroy the unique nature of the village. EHDC must deny this planning permission.
Tim Hornor |
| 5 | Richard Wagstaff | 1. Is there a real housing NEED within the village?
Even if the requirement can be proved....
2. The location is totally inappropriate.
3. The design is totally inappropriate for this or any other location within the parish. |
Lesley Reynolds | I am concerned that by allowing development of Green Belt land this may be setting a precedent for future development in this village and other similar villages.

Richard Hinton | There are already tens of thousands of new houses under constuction within a 10 mile radius of here. It is essential Catagory 3 open rural precious countryside and a designated conservation area is protected in the most heavily populated area of one of the most densely populated countries on earth. This area must be preserved for future generation from becoming just another built up area.

Lesley Terrey | This is not about nimbyism, is about protecting our environment.
Peter Simpson | I object to the proposed affordable housing development on a green field site. It is totally inappropriate.
Mike Cuthbert | I object to areas of green belt being taken for housing in particular where the council appears to have been reluctant to keep residents informed of the plans and thier true extent.
Alison Stears | I feel the Parish Council need to get on board and recognise the strength of feeling in our village against such a development. Stop this now before we join up with Harlow!!

Mark Fielding | We are very unhappy about the possibility of the housing expansion planned. The positioning of the site would ruin a rare and beautiful part of Albury and would be a blot on the landscape. We are also not happy with the way the plans have gone through without the consent of the most relevant inhabitants of the village. We therefore strongly oppose any development of this kind going ahead.
linda long | This is a completely inappropriate site for this development. Albury is a lovely little village and its whole character would be ruined if this went ahead. Lets stop at ruining Bishops Stortford.
chris long | This development should never be allowed for reasons too numerous to mention. How it ever got to this stage is amazing to me. Whats going on at East Herts.

michele Hoffmann |
Elizabeth Guidera | leave a beauitful location alone, there is so little green space left - where does one have to go to escape
Anonymous | It would be a terrible eyesore in what is a very pretty village.

anthony bullock | I bought my house in Albury because it had rural views. If I wanted to look at houses I would have stayed in London.
