1006 Susan McKennaIL61820Thank you for supporting this significant legislation -- it promises to make graduate degrees more available, especially to students who might not otherwise have been able to pursue their educational dreams.

1009 Andrew WilliamsGA30331This would provide a great opportunity for myself and many other students I know that would take full advantage of the opportunity for success promoted through this act. With the current economic state, it becomes more and more difficult for my family to pay for my college education. This act provides an outlet. It would benefit many.
1010 Nathaniel DreyfussMI48178As a student already under a mountain of loans, this bill offers an outstanding way out of crushing debt to those who cannot otherwise afford to pursue higher education.
1011 L. Rochelle NormanNC28658This would be awesome!

1016 Beverly RobbinsIL62901As a career services specialist working in a public university, I see, everyday, students who are struggling to pay for their college education. Additionally, many college students are interested in working for the federal government but are overwhelmed by the process and many feel the likelyhood of getting a federal position is so slim they frequently will not complete the process. The Roosevelt Scholars program will help create inroads to public service and assist student in the process of not only completing college degrees, but also attacting high quality students into public service.

1023 AnonymousWA98372What a wonderful idea! I just retired in June from Bethel Public Schools where I worked with HIghly Capable students. This is a perfect opportunity for many of my former students to continue their education while committing to public service after their degrees! It is a wonderful alternative to the military, though many may still choose that option.

1033 JamesMI49006This would help me greatly in achieving a more in depth education. I was deeply interested in doing research at the CDC anyways, and this act makes it much easier to complete more education.
1034 HeatherMN56374As a current undergraduate Senior, Political Science major and advocate of civic engagement, I can not say how GREAT this program is! I can only hope that those younger than me can benefit from this opportunity--at the undergraduate level as well as the graduate level.
1035 Naomi Lynn GerberVA22030This is long overdue. WE must encourage students to select careers in these needed fields and encourage them by helping to defray educaitonal costs.
