Mick Ronson was an inspiration to so many, his was a guitar sound that influenced an era, a sound that can still be heard in today’s music. A generous, ego-less man who thought nothing of helping and advising anyone who asked, or to simply stop for a chat.
Mick Ronson should be inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland, Ohio, within the 'Side Men' category - why? ask - Bowie, Chapman, Dylan, Dillon, Hunter, Morrison, Morrisey, Mott, Finn, Folley, Mellencamp, Reed, Cale, Johansen, Dalbello, Cassidy, Peacock, Burnett, Ravan, Sargeant and more, with Rats, Spiders, Dogs, Dolls, Nuns, Wildhearts, Payola$, Yanquis, Illegals, Jugglers, Flowers, Falcons, Angels and....I could go on
