I have seen some of the pounds where usually the authorities try to keep strangers out hundreds of dogs 5 to a kennel wet filthy starving and very ill in many cases,
Puppies being born on the side of the roads.

| 198 | Mary Alice Pollard, Cornwall's Voice for Animals.UK | There is no excuse in this day and age for people to slaughter animals either on the streets or in the shelters by bashing and beatings - gas or otherwise - firstly humane education on spaying and neutering is must be impliments - low cost spay and neuter, and vaccination programs - this being done free to feral street dogs and cats ( spay/neuter, vaccinate and release programs ). The means and ways of implimenting these programs are there and welfare groups within Romania must work together in order to help reach these goals. It can be done ! |
