The petition

The funding bodies need evidence of need, of which this online petition will form a crucial part.

The proposed facility is planned on an area of reclaimed waste ground with no designated use, and we will be adding value and bio-diversity to the land, as well as improving the quality of life and opportunities for healthy activity in one of Wales poorest areas.

On 8th January 2006, four members of Rhyl CC, Thomas Harland (14), Maurice Broadbent (61), Wayne Wilkes (42) and Dave Horrocks (55) were killed by an out-of-control vehicle while part of the Sunday club ride. It is partly as a memorial to them that this important development for the future has been put together.
