Want to start off that a real recall election petition cannot be done online, it has to be done in ink on official papers, this is a way of getting the word out as well as seeing if we would be able to collect the needed amount of signatures needed for the real petition.

To sum it up though, a proponent submits a <200 word reason for the removal of the Member, as well as a $50 charge. If it gets approved, then there is 60 days to collect signatures of 40% of the individuals who were registered voters in the MLA’s electoral district on General Voting Day of the last election of the MLA.

Hence the reason for this petition, on the internet, something like this could move fast, as well as be relatively easy to sign, so it should be something that can be easily achievable, and if it fails, it shows that there needs to be more conversation about what is going on as well as getting the information out there to people who might not follow along as well as others do.

This would also be a great way to let it be known that for an official petition it would need canvassers to collect the signatures, so it would be great if some people would volunteer for that, as well as someone to be a financial agent to collect donations that would go towards advertising and other costs.

An official petition will require an address with the signature, right now, I feel like a postal code should be a decent requirement to be able to weed out any bad signatures.
