| 685 | Tricia | Ward-Dolkas | | | |
| 686 | Ralph | Hofmeister | | US | My wife and I are Stanford alumni and residents of Santa Clara County who would enjoy a trail through Stanford's dish lands. We would probably never use a path along Alpine Rd. |
| 687 | Seth | Zuckerman | CA | US | When I was a student at Stanford 25 years ago, I valued the opportunity to run the Dish and to share that experience with others from the surrounding community. The Alpine Road sidewalk does nothing to continue that proud tradition, and appears to fall short of Stanford's commitments under its development agreement. Please hold my alma mater to a higher standard. |
| 688 | Susan | Cole | CA | US | Stanford has been taking too much from the community and giving too little back ijn recent years. Any other large-scale developer would be required to dedicate a reasonable amount of land to public use in return for large-scale new construction.
Stanford should not be allowed to shirk its responsibility. The university should be required to live up to the spirit of its promises and provide a real recreational trail, not a glorified sidewalk, as previously agreed for the use of those hike in Santa Clara county. |
