Greenhouse gas emissions is a creeping problem that people truly don't understand. Greenhouse gas emissions are a mixture of gases that are released from burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, gasoline, and diesel. We use these things to drive cars, which Thirty percent of global warming emissions are caused by transportation alone. Some of that comes from the extraction, production, and delivery of fuel. These actions play a big role in depleting the ozone layer that is protecting life on earth from the powerful sun-rays. The depletion of the ozone layer is causing a chain reaction because it is heating up the earth too fast and the ice caps are melting. When that occurs the sea levels rise causing places that people live more vulnerable to floods. As earths continues to heat up it is causing the surface water of the ocean to heat up, this cause hurricanes to form. The ocean hazards are putting coastal communities at risk for disaster and lives lost. Ultimately greenhouse gases affect more than just the ozone layer but it affects the climate. The greenhouse gas effect is a huge problem that is steadily rising, and is difficult to keep under control due to the lack of education and awareness of the issue. Thus the problem remains unsolved.

The purpose of the petition is to push our world leaders toward turning away from all sources of fossil fuels and change to clean energy. The president of the United States has made comments about constructing a plan to turn away from fossil fuels. People are behind the idea of saving earth before it self destructs, but it is going to take every working together. The idea is out there we just have to come together and vow that we will do any and everything we can to reduce our how much greenhouse gas we put into the atmosphere. It not too late to be apart of the change.

There have been Worldwide officials that have came together to agree on a plan that will reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, but for some reason they have not been effective or efficient.

I have researched a solution that would help the environment in the long run. If we turn away from using fossils fuels to run our machines and use clean renewable energy we will be doing our part in preventing global warming. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), solar power, hydropower and also wind turbines are some solutions that have helped reduce these emissions. They have been tested and proven to be more effective and an innovative way to harvest energy to mainline to people’s homes. Switching to clean energy would not be cheap but they are ways to work around it, ways to invest your money into something that can save the planet for the next 500 years. Payment plans, riding public transportation that is running on clean energy, riding your bike, and walking. There are endless opportunities to reduce your greenhouse gas emission count by switching your lifestyle to one that is more green and earth friendly. and tax incentives will help encourage those who choose to get involved. Clean and renewable energy is the way to go to help stop global warming from progressing any more than it already as.

Please sign this petition to show your support and help force the government to put this solution plan into action, for the greater good.
