The petition

We, the parents, teachers and residents of the Red Clay Consolidated School District, cannot support the February 28, 2008 referendum, or subsequent referenda, until the RCCD School Board votes for a full independent audit of the Districts finances.
While we support children and fully understand the dire financial situation facing RCCD we cannot and will not support the referendum until financial transparency exists.
We believe the public trust can only be restored through a full independent audit, and ask the RCCD School Board vote immediately on this issue.
